Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe popularly known as Wande Coal was born on October 18, 1985, is a Nigerian music legend and a prominent figure in the Afrobeats genre.
He gained recognition after signing with Mo’Hit Records and releasing the hit single “Ololufe,” featured in the label’s compilation album “Curriculum Vitae (CV).”

Wande Coal’s second album, “Wanted,” was released in 2015, followed by his third album, “Realms,” in 2020.
His exceptional musical talent has earned him a place in the African music industry’s Hall of Fame, with popular tracks like “Ballerz,” “Turkey Nla,” “Iskaba,” “So Mi So,” “Ashimapeyin,” and “My Way.”

Wande Coal, born on October 18, 1985, in Lagos State, Nigeria, discovered his musical talents as a teenager and honed his skills by joining the church choir.

Career
Wande Coal’s breakthrough came when he crossed paths with Don Jazzy and D’banj, the founders of Mo’Hit Records, and signed with the label in 2006.
He showcased his talent on D’banj’s Rundown/Funk You Up album, featuring on the singles “Why Me,” “Loke,” and “Tonsibe.”
Wande Coal also played a significant role in the creation of Mo’Hit Records’ compilation album, Curriculum Vitae (CV), with his debut single “Ololufe” garnering national fame and showcasing his exceptional vocals and songwriting skills.
In 2010, he released his debut album, Mushin 2 Mo’Hits, which propelled him to international stardom.
The album featured hits like “You Bad” with D’banj, “Bumper2Bumper,” and “Taboo.”
